As the title suggests, Sad Movie is a film that promises to bring audiences to tears as it explores four different stories of love. It brags of a stellar cast including Jung Woo Sung (A Moment to Remember), Im Soo-Jung (I'm Sorry, I Love You), Cha Tae Hyun (My Sassy Girl) and Shin Mina (A Bittersweet Life), and has already been shown all over Korea on the last quarter of October.

The movie actually reminds me of Love Actually where several stories of love intertwine throughout the film. I've already seen the said film, and I was extremely pleased by it. I'm now looking forward to its Asian "counterpart" which is Sad Movie.

Incidentally, there is another film like Sad Movie which features a great cast and four love stories as well. It's entitled My Lovely Week, and it has already been shown in Korea also, if I'm not mistaken. I'm looking forward to that too, but Sad Movie comes first. (The reason? I'm a fan of Jung Woo Sung, Im Soo-Jung and Cha Tae Hyun. *wink*)

[2] Mean Streets

Jo In Sung (Memories of Bali) sheds off his pretty boy image in Mean Streets as he plays a streetsmart hoodlum who has to make a living to support his mother and two younger siblings. In Sung will act alongside Lee Bo Young (Save the Last Dance for Me) as his on-screen romantic interest. I've read on the news that In Sung ajussi was so into his character while filming that he injured his shoulder during one scene. (Oh, poor baby.)

I know Jo In Sung has played a meanie role before... I think in Piano or another film I still haven't seen, but I just got so used to the pretty boy that I got a bit shocked at his haircut. (See? It's too short!) Aside from that, I've also read that In Sung will be having a really big tattoo placed on his back for this film. Ehem. So I guess we'll be seeing his back, huh? I'm not one to complain.

Action films are aplenty lately, and some of the pretty boys like In Sung have chosen to take a leap from romantic comedies and dramas to action flicks. This also holds true for Kim Rae Won and Kwon Sang Woo. Both good-looking actors have their own action films also...

[3] Mr. Socrates

Now this is a surprise. Kim Rae Won (My Little Bride) is known to me as a funny, laid-back kind of guy who always (and never fails) to make me laugh with his quirky little facial expressions. In Mr. Socrates, he is a penniless street thug who is forced to train to become a homicide detective. Sound far-fetched? Well, that's what I like about KR movies... they surprise me.

My cousin Pearl is so looking forward to this film because she likes Rae Won a lot (her first Korean crush). I personally am looking forward to it too because this is a whole new side of Rae Won that we will be seeing. The film has premiered in Korea last Thursday, and it has been a great success, being number one in ticket sales. Rae Won rocked, I bet.

Oh... trivia. Just like In Sung, Kim Rae Won injured himself filming this movie. Now I can't remember... Ate Pearl? Is it his ear he injured? Kawawa naman si Cutie Rae Won. And oo nga pala, his earlier movie My Little Bride is gonna be shown in local theatres soon. I saw the theatrical poster in Glorietta 1 last Sunday. (If you haven't seen it yet, try niyo. It's really cute.)

Mommy, I feel hot!

I don't know much about the film yet, but the fact that Woo Sung oppa and Ji Hyun unni are there are enough to keep me excited! These two guys look so good together in their Giordano pics (refer to You and I Will Travel Far wallie on the sidebar) that I fell in love with them. Good thing someone thought of making a movie for them. Their chemistry is just unbelievable.

Yes, he's in the process of making a movie. *wink* But that's for me to know and for you to find out. Hahaha! Saan nanggaling yun? Just kidding. Everything's hush-hush about my oppa's new film, so we'll have to wait for further updates before I can proudly post it up here.

Woohoo!!! *raising fists up in the air* I wish these movies reach the Philippine shores soon! Meanwhile... I'll have to finish Lovers in Paris first. Hah!

Youth Comic

This is a movie starring Kwon Sang Woo (Stairway to Heaven) and Kim Ha Neul (Stained Glass), their second pairing in a motion picture since the really cute and funny My Tutor Friend. The film is still "under construction," but I found some interesting still photos of the couple as they shoot. The most interesting of which is found below:

WTF? Is Sang Woo tired of his pretty face already? His upcoming (finished) movie Running Wild had him looking like a member of the Muchas Grasas family, and now he looks like a cross between a character pulled out from those old Chinese Martial Arts flicks and one of the members of The Beatles. Hahaha! If only for his hairstyle, I'm going to look forward to this film.

Mitzi... asawa mo nagwawala. Kaw naman kasi, puro ata Tropicana iniinom mo ngayon! *evil laugh* Puwede ko bang i-display dito yung wallie na ipapagawa mo sa akin? *louder evil laugh* Just kidding. Baka putulan mo ako ng "sustento" sa Koryan eklavu natin.

I haven't seen an episode of this series, but the teasers I've seen *frothing in the mouth* ... my goodness... how did Echo's body turn out to be that trim? Choice cut! Kakaloka! And look at this:

QTV Channel 11: Kuwento Natin 'To!

From Kapamilya to Kapuso. *wink* Honestly, now I'm impressed. GMA definitely HAS money. I've seen the teasers of the shows lined up for QTV 11 and most of them (I think 80%) are locally produced! My goodness! If that's not shelling out and risking a big amount of money, I don't know what is.

Okay, this is not to say I'm turning Kapuso, but I admire GMA-7 now for taking the risk and branching out, producing more shows and (hopefully) expanding the field as far as employment is concerned. I'd still be watching the Kapamilya Network when I get home (or Arirang, hahaha!) but I will be watching out for QTV. Especially because Drew (Arellano) has a new show there, at last... THANK GOD!

Friends are there...

Met Suzie last Sunday to give her unni's "birthday present." We didn't have that much time to talk, but as expected, wala nang lumabas sa mga bibig namin kundi Lee Dong Gun this, Lee Dong Gun that, Soo-Hyuk this, Soo-Hyuk that... and so on and so forth. I think we had a good thirty minutes chat until she had to leave because her family was waiting for her already so that they could go home. Well... not without a picture of course!!!


Mga tinamaan ng magaling. Nag-pictorial sa KFC? At naka-pink pa yung isa! (Ay... ako pala yun.)

Kadire, mukha akong basura sa pic. Sorry Suzie ha? My blotchy face ruined it. Kailangan ko na pala makipag-appointment kay Ninang Vicky (Belo) at Tita Pie (Calayan). LAKAS!!! Next time all the Dreamers should be together... at ang pictorial DAPAT NASA STUDIO NA TALAGA!!! Hahaha! Christmas Party na!

Sinasabi ko na nga ba eh.

Hindi ko alam kung instinct ko lang o ano, pero sa tuwing sumasaya ako, natatakot ako sa kapalit. Lagi kasing may kapalit. Hindi puwedeng wala. Parang ang "happiness" ko ay isang favor na kailangang suklian sa kung sinuman. Ngayon, sinisingil na naman ako.

Sana ako na lang si Vivian na makakatagpo ng isang Carlo na mayaman (pero sana kamukha ni Carlo si Martin) na tutulong sa akin sa mga panahong ganito. Pero hindi Korean drama ang buhay ko. Hindi nga ako Koreano eh... nagfi-feeling Koreano lang.

Parang ayoko na tuloy maging masaya.

For some reason I wanna answer these tags here cos I want lengthy answers, and my tagboard will not allow that. Hee~! ^__^

Ahvic: hey girl!kip up the gud work on your site...I can't still figure out how to put that haloscan thing on my site or am I just too busy to do so...help help po!!!

Hey gurl! First of all, get the code from haloscan... there are two. One should be pasted somewhere in your < head > tags (the actual head tags don't have spaces between the word "head" and the symbols). The < head > tags are where your blog title are written. Just paste the first code there (the shorter code). Easy.

The second code (the longer one) is a bit more tricky. You have to put the second code on the spot where you want the comment link to be seen. In my case, it's below the author "byline." Look for the block of text beginning with < Blogger > and ending with < /Blogger > (again, no spaces between the words and symbols) and then look for the text where it says "posted by..."

After you've seen that text, make a line break (click Enter key on keyboard) and type < br > (no spaces still!) afterwhich you can paste the second haloscan code already. Save the edits and that's it! *wink*

Oh... and for learning Korean online, here are some links I recommend:

^ This site is cool! It teaches conversational Korean and gives lots of examples! You guys should try this one. No membership required.
